Never saw those pics before.......BUT I LIKE IT!

I know I know.? We could sell truck loads of them.

Someone sent me the link last week, and I clicked add bookmark but it didn't? so I lost the thread.? I've asked the powers that be; why sometimes it does that, and haven't got an answer.

From what I read, there were two guys that worked at a stereo shop and made it for a member.? The two guys have left and moved on.

I want to get some info from the thread, but I can't find it now.? :E:

Here are some more pics

anyone give him a call yet?  if anyone is thinking about buying one, i would be extremely interested as well as long as it doesn't cost $10,000 like the JL box.

I have tried emailing them... they don't respond to that.

I believe GriffGriffen who had his done there paid around $1000 for the box, but he had other work done, so it was a ballpark guess.

The installer and salesperson he dealt with are both gone too, so that might make a difference in the quality of the build if they do another one.

I absolutely LOVE that box and think it is the ultimate solution for a midgate box.  The JL, subthump, explosive, and probox don't even come close to this!

I fyou hear anything at all keep me in the loop... these guys are about an hour and a half from me and for the right price I would have my gate done in a heartbeat!

i hear you.  i keep looking at the subthump box and the car audio factory one and just don't want to take the chance and buy it.  but i need some 12's in my truck and i can't find a fair price for a JL Midgate.  i am surprised MTX hasn't made a thunderform yet.  i emailed them and probox rocks and told them to build one already.  JL is charging an arm and leg since there is no competition.  will do, i have be emailing a few fiberglass places and thats around $700.

I have had 2 http://www.subthump.com/ boxes and they both were made really well. I never tried caraudiofactory but have not heard to much good stuff about them.

I just had a custom set up made for my 02 AV the guy who did my box only charged $170 for the box and $45 for shipping I have 2 elemental designs sq10 drivers in it. and it hits harder than some boxes that have 12's he also has other boxes available for the AV here is his web site. www.woodlawncabinetry.com his name is phil salisbury. I was gonna go with the JL set up but after doing some research into the midgate boxes i found that they make teh seals leak and when it rains or snows the water will ruin the speakers and you'll have to replace the system.

for every thing i am running i spent just under $1000 Installed and thats with a pioneer avhp 5700 dvd head unit. just though that i'd pass along some info on what i found when i was searching for a system for my Avalanche

:nopics:  >:D

i'd agree, lets see some pics of this system.?

i need to upgrade my entire system.? all i have now is dual JL 10's under the seat.? i am going to replace all my interior speakers with power acoustik componets and need some 12's and then wrap that all up with a new headunit.? i need to find a new box that works perfectly.?

probox emailed me back and this is their new midgate replacement.? they said it kicks the JL 12's out of the water.? it sounded good, but then i found out it is a single 10" so i don't know how to compare it to two 12's.  mabey they put something like a JL w7 in there?????? ?retail is $999.00
