I am new here Been reading for a while now and decided to join.
Glad to see there is a forum for Canada.
Just wondering where in the GTA is a good place to buy decal's etc.
I live just east of Toronto.
Has anyone put tail light covers on there ava I have but I don't have a digital camera just a reg one and they are the first pictures on the camera and hubby told me I am not wasting any more film So I have to wait to post them.
I included a pic of my 2003 Arrival Blue Avalanche hope it shows up.

oh yea one problem Hubby turns 50 that weekend...
oh well, after all it is kind of his truck..I just let him use it every so often...Actually he uses it all the time, because I don't drive ...Never have and Never will. I still like to think it is my truck though.
After all an ava is a chick truck...lol.

Hi and welcome,
Always good to have another Canuck sign up. There is a thread in the Canadian section on where to buys things in Canada. Started it a few months ago becasue so many things discussed on the board are hard to find here. I have a good decal source here but I believe there is one in the GTA as well.

Any others questions on mods, I'll try and help. Take care
 
thanks for the advice on the decals we are into Nascar big time and was thinking about putting the checkered flag in the back window but don't want the truck looking too tacky,.
we currently have the avalanche bug defelector on the front and the vent visors and now the tail light covers and we did our bow tie in arrival blue..( Hubby works for Generous Motors) we have friends in the Paint dept. so he painted the tail lights and bow tie for us..

Someone (another lady) already has the checker flag on her back window... and a bunch of other places. If you doi a search on checkered I'm sure you pull up a bunch of stuff.

There is no better present you could offer your husband than to bring him to our fall GTG, it would give him the oppertunity to meet some of the nicest people this side of California. Besides it's just his 50th.
You dont have to dive an AV to appreciate it, I could just stare at mine all day long..

WOW just got home from work and thought I would check out the board and notice all the welcomes...Very nice crowd, but then that is why I joined this board because you all are so friendly.

We don't sit and look at the truck we just get a kick out of everyone else looking at the truck..especially when you pull up to a stop light and the car beside you has little kids in it and they are just staring up at you with there mouth wide open. You just want to take them for a ride. thinking how much of a thrill it would be for them...
Well better go and finish getting dinner.

Yepper Dragonslayer it has everything to do with Crappy Tire.
I work in the Auto Parts department Been there for 9 years now.

Nope no drive the AVA just a passanger...never got my license..
I never get yelled at for not leaving any gas in the truck or putting a scratch on it...
I love this life...lol
