Hot/Cold Beverage Console

I was wondering if anyone out there has installed the Hot/Cold Beverage Console. I think this is a neat thing to have but at the price I wanted to know if anyone that has it thinks it is worth the price.

Couldn't tell from the ebay picture: Does this thing replace the existing console, or does it fit inside of it?

To what I can tell you remove the current cup holder/storage thing and replace it with this one. I think it is a complete drop in part with not modifications whatsoever.

I ordered it, got it, stared at it for two days and then sent it back.

It slips over the existing console and has to be screwed in to the existing console.

It only holds small cups.

It's very 'cheap' looking

The color doesn't match the truck's interior.

Overall, I was very dissapointed.

There have been threads on this topic earlier. It has been reported as "cheap and definately not worth the money" based on that I decided not to get it.

I got some scanned in images of the installation process. It does look like you have to do a little drilling into the console.

I had one of these in my 2001 suburban, they only hold cups the diameter of a soda can. The hot/cold works fine but you will really miss being able to have a place to store your big gulp. Also, they take up a decent amount of room and look ugly. I would not make the mistake of putting one of these on my av. Cheers
