The StreetGlow Gold Series kit includes *EVERYTHING*... even a lighted switch!

Well, the only thing missing is a power tap from the battery and I will provide that at no cost!

If you want a different switch pick one up otherwise just get the kit and come on Friday and I'll Pimp Your Ride!

I will be there Friday either way.. Just have to decide..
I too had thought about a different sail panel install but couldnt find a controller.. So I went basic for now.. 10mm leds..

Hey David have you see the PINK kits before ? Are they pretty bright ? or would purple be brighter ?

also how much more do you think like a 4-6 strobe setup would be also ?

Pink is one of the brigest if not the brightest. Purple is in the middle somewhere.

What kind of strobes do you want? The night time/goofin strobes like mine or the public safety/traffic control brightness strobes?

David

the goofin ones . I know I can get the PTS kind for another 300 from galls.com but seems kinda price for something to use only in the parking lots

What are you using from the video with the music ?

I'm using the StreetGlow Headlight Strobes w/Controller.

Controller runs 4 strobes and goes for about $25.

Headlight Strobes (pair) go for about $30.

For the front if you get a controller and two pair of strobes it'll come with about all the wire you need. If you want to do the rears you'll need a lot of extra wire.

SWEEEEEEEET !! So i need 2 controllers and 8 bulbs ( 4 pairs )? or will just 4 bulbs still look good ?

Do they have to be placed in the lights ? Can they be put under the truck to flash down ?

Each controller controls 4 bulbs and the controller is not required, but it lets you do patterns instead of pure randomness.

You can put the bulbs pretty much anywhere. They're not designed to be submerged in water but they could probably handle a little moisture.

How long does it take to do a set-up like yours with 4 in the front and 4 in the rear?

There's a control module too but I don't see it listed at the moment. I know they still sell it though.

Or you could go with these:

About 2-3 hours to do the front, about 5 hours to do the rear (they're a pain).

you need the glow pedals and a strobe in the 3rd brake light .

So how many strobes are you up to David ?

Yeah, I've been looking at the pedals, it's on the list but haven't gotten to it yet.

I've looked at the 3rd brake light but haven't figured out how to take it apart without destroying it.

There are 12 strobes in the AV currently, have 4 more that aren't in there anywhere.

David ,

Any detail on the swtich panel ?

I want to run this setup compared to what i have now but when i took down the overhead the unit was sealed . did you unseal it and put you own in ?

Where did you get those nice switches >?

David,

You are the MAN for light mods! Your Avy looks awesome. I just showed my daughter your videos and told her I want to do that to my truck and she thinks I am crazy(she might be right).

Is there any way to install strobes in the third brake light?

I've redone it since these pictures but it's mostly accurate.

You can remove that black plastic worthless cubby hole and you actually have quite a bit of room to work in there.

Switches came from Advance Auto Parts and are made by Calterm.

Thanks!!

The 3rd brake light is sealed up pretty well. I haven't had the guts to start screwing around with it.

If I had an extra one to play with I'd be willing to try a few things though...
