I finally found a set of rims that I love. They are 20's so I'd need new tires also. They are expensive($2900.00) total(rims, tires, install, locks). I've seen different prices on here and was wondering if this seems outrageous to anyone? I really like them but I can't decide! Help!

If you love them is shouldnt matter..  But 2900 for 20s seems high to me

I've been looking at 20's as well and the ones I want with nitto terra grapplers would have been $1900. I do not want to spend that much, so I am going with the Kumho Ecsta STX instead ($1500). Saving up the pennies now :needhug:

depends on wheel and tires chosen..

so... what wheel and what tires?

MKW 41's with Nitto's

Didn't diamond pete have those?

$2,900 seems ridiculous to me.  I paid less than that for some nice 22's and all four tires installed with locks.

when you have to start 2 topics......

I know I know. Some people don't check both so I wanted everyone's opinions and now I got them.  :sigh:

With out tires I paid $1000 for 17 inch for the same wheels.

A buddy of mine is spending $5200 for 22" rims and tires for his Tahoe.  He wants to sell me his chrome 20s and tires for $2000.  I told him the only way I can afford them is put it on a payment plan with him.  There is something wrong with this picture.  He is paying cash for his rims and tires, and I have to use a payment plan?

seems high but of course depens on tires and wheels, dub bellagios got for about 4,000 for a set of 20's

aye yae-that's expensive. Well if I keep my current tires(18's) they'd be about $1300. Still I will shop around for a cheaper price.

nice rims.. but I wouldn't spend that much for 20's. You can get 22's or even 24's for that price.

I like them much better after seeing them mounted on Pete's ride.  Didn't care for just the pic of the rim.  Good luck!

Way too much if you ask me. Shop, shop, shop and find the best deal you can find. I did that for months before I bought anything.

That's about right for those wheels. I got the price I did because a friend of mine is friends with the owner of the shop where I bought them. The big thing with buying something is: If you like them and it's what you know you will be happy with, then the price is not too bad.

Get what you want and what you are going to be happy with. You look at your AV more than anyone, and you pay the bills for what you put on it.

yea I'm thinking I'll hold onto my tires and get the 18's. I do really like them and I don't need 20's. I'm thinkin' that's the way to go. and thanks for sharing the info on them. They are great looking wheels. Not prissy like some are.

gggr read this a little too late- sorry:(. Yes I bought them but I only paid $700.00 for the 20's. Woo-Hoo it pays to shop around. Now onto tires....
