How'bout those HIDs!

I'm a happy Aver tonight. I completed my first mod without anyone's help for the very first time. These HIDs came from JPCustoms, and as usual, they've never steered me wrong. This is a Maxtel brand HID kit-8000K-and they are awesome! Here's before and after pics. Before pic was taken last night. After pic was just taken a few minutes ago. WOW What a difference!

What temp did you get 8000K?

Yes, those are 8000Ks, and I love that color. Install was not difficult at all. Just taking the headlights out and everything that goes with that on these 07s. Anybody needs help on the 07 headlight removal, I'm an expert, I've done it 3 or 4 times now. Everything was plug and play, it was quite simple actually. Just everything you gotta take apart and put back together again and running the wires and getting the ballasts mounted, then hiding everything to make it look as clean as I could. Wires weren't difficult at all, just red and black for pos. and neg...even I couldn't screw that up!

#7 is prob. the best. See how those halogen PIAAs comapre to the HIDs...they don't.

Only a bulb replacement. I still have the stock headlights and plan on keeping them.

The truck looks great.  Really like those HID's.  Did you do the high beams or the fogs by chance?  If you don't mind me asking how much did the system set you back?  Again truck looks great.  Take care.
