Hydrolic Tailgate For Soft Opening

I'm no mechanic but I would love to see one or two hydrolic arms that prevent the tailgate from just falling. My wife has a heck of a time with the heavy tailgate.

I'm thinking about something similar to what they have in hatchbacks to avoid abrubt apening and closing.

Those small hydrolic/shock-absorber-like arms on each side of the door.

Thoughts? recommendations? comments?

Search for Tailgate Oleo......someone brought this up some time ago.....it may be in question section it was some time ago....and i forget the consensus...
