I guess thats is , why is it that every extra minute i get im on this site! I have been online forever, owned great toys and have done my research, but this site is INFO over load! I am so pethetic i go to the home page and constantly refresh to see what is being talked about just so i can read more! I love my AV, so many people i know hate it , but i dont care. The funny thing is once a person drives in it with me they are hooked also. I am the proud owner of a 02 Pewter Z-66, the only mods are a Gibson single cat back tube steps(that the dealer bent on their lift, and claim they didnt) and the tent...IS ANYONE ELSE THIS ADDICTED TO THIS SITE?

Yes sir! With so much great info and great ppl on this site it's hard not to become addicted! It only gets worse, the more you read the more you MOD!

There is one question though...what are the part # for the amber DRLs?

Well i guess that would be a bit of a deturrent. ;D
My dad had one that was almost as good. He served as a surgeon, and in the middle of a procedure, an MP came to the OR and said "Sir, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to write you up. Your jeep is parked outside, the keys are in the ignition, and it's unguarded. It's a security violation."

My dad answered "Do what you must. But first, how about bringing the keys in for me, I can't break scrub."

A few minutes later the MP came back: "I'm sorry to have bothered you sir, your jeep is well protected."

In the back seat of the jeep was Zoltan, a fully grown great dane. When the MP reached in for the keys all he saw was growling teeth! >:D

you know its funny I live in CA where the AV was "first "introduced, and havnt really seen many till as of late. but back east ...Man It was like every other truckon the road was a AV...I was so impressed that if they could hold up to Buffalo winters, they must be bullet proof so I bought one and so did my parents....

They do seem to be sprouting like weeds around here. I typically see two to four a day driving around. Are your parents members? Where are they? (I'm guessing WS/Hamburg?)

I'm in the northtowns - Amherst. But I commute regularly to Hamburg for work, but not every day. I often work at home. ;D

Work is mostly on the computer, doing software development. That often involves long compile times. When that happens, I open a browser window. Also have e-mail running all the time.

Actually, the big problem with working at home is working too much! It's too easy to say I'm just gonna do this one thing, and then get sucked in for hours. Next thing you know it's 2:00 am!

So, while I take "breaks" often, I make up for it...

Besides, I save over an hour a day by not commuting. I use that time (and more) here.

Guess I'm a little sensitive. But it's only because I do realize that I spend waaaaaay to much time here!

I am in the Rochester area, and I only see 2 or 3 in a week or two. And I had not seen another SOM until last week! Still get the heads jerking for a good look at the Av, and love every minute of it.
BTW My club sticker just arrived, and the first day I had it on, got 4 inquiries about it. It's all good!

I just returned from a 5 mile round trip to the lumber yard. I saw four Avs during the trip, 2 black one pewter and 1 white. All were Z71's. All had clear running lights. None waved! (one probably couldn't see me in the parking lot.
I think the guys in load out were a bit surprized when they saw what vehicle was getting the 12' cedar 1x4's. And if that wasn't enough, I rested them on the dash and closed the tailgate. I love this truck more and more each day! ;D
