One of my sister-plant suppliers was in our manufacturing plant to review some issues. When we left to go to another location, one of my co-workers made a comment about the Avalanche in the parking lot. I told him it was mine, he said "I've got one too and I was eyeing yours over when we pulled into the parking lot".
We finished our business at the other location, came back to my plant, he indicated he wanted to take a closer look. We looked over my mods (see my signature), he went nutso!
He was immediately converted and started talking about what he was going to start doing to his Av.
He complained that the only thing he didn't like about the Av was the rattling noise when you get over 65 mph. I asked him if he had a bug shield and he said yes. I told him about the modification to the windshield molding, and told him I found it on the website.
He said "My wife's going to kill me when I start doing some mods"! He was like a little kid, couldn't wait to get back home and start looking at the website.
Sorry about the long-winded story, but it was funny to watch someone be transformed into a modder right before your eyes!
