I Fought GM, And I Won.

My 2002 is gone. No more leaky bed, non-working climate control or gas tank I can't fill!! Yeah!

I took GM on, and whooped 'em. No lawyer, just me, and out front of my house sits my brand new replacement 2003 Victory Red Avy! I'm psyched, now to lift this monster!

I'm happy for you. I don't want to sound rude but climate control was not a option on the 2002. I had a fully loaded Z71 2002 and it was not even a option in the books I read. I could be wrong though. My 2003 has climate control though. Can someone else tell me if I'm write or wrong.

I have the climate control in my 2002.

I have Climate Control too. Check out the Owners Manual (3-4 Electronic Climate Control System) and you'll see it.

And I've yet to have a problem with mine. I love it, no more guessing where to place the knob for a happy medium temp.

I think I was thinking dual climate control. Sorry, I don't think that the 2002 cam with dual climate control. I started thinking about it after I left the computer and posted that. 2002 didn't come with dual climate control and the 2003's did.

We have a single zone, climate control in our '02. It took going to the service dept. to figure out how to get the thingto work. But that's under a different thread here. (long story ~ simple solution)

The only problem I've had with mine is when I take the Av in for service the morons in the service dept insist on screwing with the controls to set the fan on high and the temp on full hot/full cold. If they just gave it a second to get going - it does the job nicely...

I have an 02 with Climate control. I think it was part of the convienience package if I am not mistaken..........

I VERY glad you won. I just think it is sad that a company like GM has to turn it into a battle as oppose to just doing what is right.
