Hi folks, it's my first post here although I have been checking this place out before I bought one. I was looking at Tahoes, Yukons, and Av's. My wife liked the AV better and it's the one we got. ?

Now for the technical stuff. I got the Victory Red Z-71 with pretty much everything. Leather buckets, heated with memory, Sunroof, convenience package, Onstar, Steps, and Roof Rack. About the only changes or mods I will make is to the stereo. It's okay if you didn't know better, but if you like to rock it just don't get it.

I got what I felt like was a great deal. I paid $128 over invoice and got a free tank of gas. (Substantial with that 31 gallon tank) I also got the 0% financing for 60 months. Can't beat free money.

My previous daily driver was a 92 Geo Tracker which I drove for the past ten years. Great little car but time to move on. Quite a shock in size from driving it around compared to this. Needless to say you need a little more parking room with the AV.

All for now, I'll probably be hanging around the Audio Video room mostly and will be posting what I did in the next couple of months. I'll try to get some pictures soon. ORV

Welcome to the club! Did you keep the Geo Tracker as a back up vehicle to keep in the bed of your Av? ;D

That has to be one of the biggest switches I've heard of here. 0% finance for 60 months is awesome! That's like, free money and although I normally poo-poo financing anything for five years that has wheels, at 0% you can't go wrong. Paying spitting distance of invoice was a good deal too.

You'll love your Avalanche. Now go out and get a set of 4157 NALL DRL bulbs and 899 fog lamps!

So you got the world's coolest truck, congratualtions on that. Next, you need to do the ambder DRL swap so we know you are a member of this prestigious club! ?

Congrats and welcome ;). I'm jumping into the audio mods now too >:D. Feel free to contact any members with any questions.

:)

Welcome to the AV club Orv ! I love my AV and I am sure you love yours too, if you don't already. I went from driving a Chevy S-10 for 10 years to this big beast and it did take some readjusting to drive it but it took me all of about 1 minute >:D learn to handle this big machine. I love my AV... it is a sweet ride

Again welcome to the club...

MissAvalanche..... :B:

Thanks for the welcome. Chief I had thought about putting the Geo up in the back kind of like that Escalade commericial. As far as the audio setup goes, my stepson is an assistant manager at a custom car audio shop and used to be the install manager. I think I got that base pretty well covered. I will post to that thread when we get it done. Looking forward to hanging out here some. ORV
