I Need Painting Help

I did a topic search and I searched skidds' links page and still did not find what I am looking for, although I know it is out there....somewhere.

I received a pair of louvered taillight covers for my AV for Christmas and I want to paint them. I am looking for info on painting. Sanding (what grit? dry or wet? hints?) best paint brand (in a can), best color match to Indigo Blue AV?

I won't be putting them on until it gets warmer, so that the tape sticks, so I have plenty of time to do it.

i had mine painted...and they change the look ....color wraps all the way around..you will love them..i had my local paint shop do them for me...30.00..thought that was fair...

I would have your local dealer shoot them or a paint and body shop. You'll get the color match and quality you want.

I see you already have some good advise. I'm interested in knowing where I can find these things. Do you know who makes them / sells them

My wife got the taillight covers fromPremier Motoring Accessories They also sell stuff for Dodge and Ford. (Sorry for swearing) This is where I got the covers for my wife's Durango. They have a huge assortment of accessories. I especially like the Bow Tie shaped lights

you could try this topic Tail Lamp Covers I don't know if that is what your looking for or not
