Is it me or does that look fake? It looks like the Av was cut into the shot. Like you could put any body on the wheels. Still, cool looking Av.
 
Fake? :eek: easy now...plenty of witnesses...its real ...I pulled up right next to Xrover (right after he finished driving through the woods) (y)

I am curious about the winch and mount. What brand are they or is it a custom mount?

The winch is a Ramsey 9000. I had the front receiver hitch made by a local hitch fab shop. I tried finding a manufactured front hitch several months ago and never found one. I am not sure if anyone makes one now
 
My dog ran under the bed when he saw those AV's!!!! I guess they were in his nightmares!!!! D@mn nice! You guys have done well moddin those bad boys! I wish I had the money and time to match you, but I must save save save.....at least thats what the better half says! >:D
 
If my AV and I were @ the meet would we have to sit in the childrens section

I just got off of the phone with Warn. They say they plan on making the front winch receiver, but don't have a timeline. The guy I talked to felt that it was delayed due to the new Silverado front end. I asked him if they planned on making one for both the cladded original Av and the claddingless "Av light". He did not know. I'm getting tired of waiting and think I'll look into having one fab'd locally.

I really like the idea of a winch on the front of the AV and looked into get a mount for a winch earlier in the year and could not find a manufacturer. It will be interesting to see if Warn does actually make a winch mount. I hope so.

I agree with the others.....those AVs are very impressive.

Steel - send the plastic packing and go with a
Metal Bumper and get a receiver or winch box on the bumper.

If you are getting back into places you need a winch, you need an improved approach angle and chances are you are going to crack the plastic . ?Just my 2 cents from playing hard and not even going hard enough I needed a winch yet ?>:D


The guys I am working with for my bumper might also be interested in working to build just a receiver for the AV. If there is enough interest, I could work with them.
