I love the look of the WBH, and will be purchasing one as soon as they come out, hopefully. ?Love the clad-less look, and the all-black or metallic gray look pretty sweet on the website. ?Only reason that I am not ordering is that I want to see them in person before I pull the trigger.

I am with you, I would never buy a vehicle without first seeing it first. Plus, my local dealer has not been informative at all about the WBH option, and when they'd be available.
This weekend, I drove through a chevy lot to look at the new Silverados, since that is what the WBH will look like. They have rather grown on me, and I'm sure I will get used to the look, but I like the regular Av front end. At least with it being like the Silverado, the availability of parts will be greater for mods and other things I may want to do to it.
I was also working under the assumption that the WBH shown on the chevy website included the flare/molding package, which shows as the black plastic around the wheel wells and along the sides. I saw some Silverados on the dealer lot without that plastic, again assuming that's what the WBH would look like without the flare/molding. I haven't decided if I want this look, but from the trucks I saw without it, the front plastic and silver bumper really visually stuck out (not necessarily in a good way).
It also seems that chevy has given us a preview of the new look of the Suburban, less the look of the tailgate. I was a bit surprised that they went with plastic for the door handles, but this follows what they did with the Silverado.
For all things considered, I am very excited for the new WBH Avalanche. I am after a more main stream looking vehicle than what the current Av offers. That being said, I almost purchased the current Av, until I found out the WBH was coming out. What a fine performing vehicle during my test drive! It seems that every chevy truck I've ever seen has had to grow on me, so I'm sure in a few years the new Silverados and WBH Av will have grown on me too. From everything I've read, chevy has committed to this current look/design for the next 5 years.
