Is The Yellow Av Worth It?

I was just browsing the Chevrolet.com Av site, and I started looking at all the pictures. Then all of a sudden this new yellow Av that I have been hearing about popped up. Truthfully when I first saw it I didn't like it, but now it is starting to build on me. ;D What do you think of the yellow? I'm still not quite sure. :2:

Never the less, an Av is still an Av and no matter what colour I'll love it the same​
 
I would take that yellow in a heartbeat...if my wife would let me! She says I'm stuck with my rig.

If you could get a yellow one, I say go for it! Best color out there for this vehicle.
 
I'm not saying it is, but it might be (stress MIGHT be) a fad. ?Ten years down the road or maybe even less than that are your kids going to be emberrassed to be seen in a bright yellow truck. ?I DON'T KNOW. ?I've seen some strange colors on some older cars that I don't particularly care for, but that's just me.
Personally I think the AV in yellow is not too bad looking, but if you try to sell (or have to) it in a few years will yellow or black sell first? ?My wife would kill me if I brought home a yellow car or truck...hummm maybe that way I'd get to drive it more. :0:

I love the yellow Av. If the Av already didn't stand out enough, add yellow, and it's the king of the road >:D
It's the only color I would consider besides my black baby ;D
 
I like it! I saw it on the Chev site last night and started wondering how much of a bath I would take changing from a 2002 TNF to the 2003 TNF. I can't wait to see one in the flesh!
 
a few years down the road i'll be painting my bigred into the bumblebee.. :rolleyes: i love the yellow av. go for it, be wild! :eek:

That is without a doubt the coolest color available! :eek:

If you bought an Av and you don't want to stand out, you bought the wrong truck anyway... might as well go all the way with an outrageous color too! ;D

How big a bath? Probably one big enough for the Av to fit in! ?;)

Seriously, the reality of taking a bath is what's stopping me from trading. (That, and my wife: "You just bought that expensive truck, and now you want another one? :eek:

Yellow with Charcoal leather seats will be :love: :love: :love: at first sight. I can't wait any damn longer. Why can't Chevrolet make this color now ? :8: :8: :8:

For 2003, the TNF green option is out and interior is now ... unique Medium Gray/Graphite seats and door trim.

Why? ??? Because that's what I'm getting and I would like there to be as few of them as possible ;D

If you like the Yellow (and I think it looks good!) then you should get it!

The yellow av looks awesome, especially with the darker cladding.

To each their own. Actually, against that yellow, I think a completely blacked out grill and bowtie would look GREAT. Even black out that chrome powerbar across the grille. :cool:

In the picture, the grille already looks black, but I'll bet it's just the camera angle, and it's the same plastic "chain link" look as the 02's. Anybody seen one of the black billet grilles yet?

I think the bright billet/chrome looks good on the dark colors, but might be kind of lost against that yellow.

Just an opinion, you're free to form your own...

Hmmm... paint the cladding black? >:D

Black out the grille and bowtie, and paint the chrome powerbar to match the body to give the black bowtie more contrast! (y)

I have a Yellow Av on order (with charcoal leather). My dealer assures me that my order has been accepted as a buildable order for September, but yet the GM site for the US, and more importantly, goo, states that yellow is not available until Jan/Feb of 2003.

Does anyone have any input or insight into this. Keep in mind that I am in Canada (perhaps different colors available???).
 
I think the yellow is BAD A$$!!!!! As for the few comments about the color being a fad or trendy. I understand that is your opinion, but if any of you happen to have a Daytona Yellow 1969 Camaro that your trying to give away because its no longer cool, send it my way... I'll take that odd-ball Hugger Orange color also. ;D

Yes they have a good yellow but I am not a fan of the same colored NEON theme.

I think a green or red would go nicely >:D
