I think he does, and he's been getting his moneys worth out of it  :cautious:

Yep, still 1 year and a bit left to the warranty!! THEN the Av is gone, my Dad wants to buy it from me!! ?:D
? Had front tie rod end replaced last week under warranty (3rd time), gaskets/seal on the water pump as well (first time).
? ? Gotta love extended warranty!! My Av is almost 5 years old now, and I bought the 6y/100k warranty, and DEFINATELY getting my $$ worth!! ?

....that depends!! My wife is taking over as Manager of the new GM Used Car Dealership and Body Shop opening next month...... she's been promoted essentially. SO she said I can only buy USED now!!
So I told her that NEXT year if she can get me a FULLY LOADED 07 at good price, then the answer is YES!~

Ouch!!!

Poor guy, I have to use 2wd all the time.

We have 4" of frozen slush right now.

Wednesday 77F (25C).
Friday 27F (-2.8C).

P.S. I would not have even thought about a 2wd AV if I lived near you Yak.
Glad you have an extended warranty to keep the wheels turning.

SNOWFALL WARNING for Labrador city: 20 - 40 cm of snow today/tonight and high winds!!

AND I HAVE NO 4 WHEEL DRIVE!!!  :needhug:

ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

JESUS HATES ME!!!  :E:

Mine did that last spring (2006) just before the warranty ran out. The repair part is around $400. The control module went to sleep. I understand that is a common problem with the 4X4 controllers.

One time, this winter, that same error message came on the DIC. It has not appearead since. It it goes bad that will be a great big "OS".

:E: :cuss:

lemme see......20 - 30 cm = < 8" of snow Yak........thazz gotta be a mere pittance up there in the great white north.....whaddya sweatin' ?

How much is gas up there...........? I say we nuke Venezuela and take their gas.....they pay like 20 cents a gallon or something rediculous........

and now I'm GLAD I bought the extended warranty.......

Gas here in Lab City is $1.207 / Litre......
There are 3.6 Litres in a gallon.......
Thats ~4.35 Canadian per gallon.......
At an exchange rate of approx. 1.18 Canadian,
thats equiv to ::  $3.70 U.S Gallon!!
