I stumbled across this link earlier today:
http://www.autostockinc.com/jotto.html

It's called the Jotto Cargo Slide. It's very similar to the BedSlide. (www.bedslide.com or search through the forums, there are several topics which mention the BedSlide.) This one has two trays instead of just one but they only hold 250 pounds each.

Has anyone else seen this product anywhere? I couldn't find any other websites relating to it.

And has anyone else seen any other products similar to either this one or the BedSlide?

Saw a good picture of it somewhere, unless its about $150, I dont think its worth it. The bedslide seems to mount better (Jotto looks to have some cheesy brackets in the rear I didnt care for)

But my biggest thing was the weight difference......

6 Avs here have the Bedslide & not 1 problem.

I've used the Bedslide for several months now. It makes unloading the bed a simple and easy thing.

I added two handles (Home Depot - $1.79 each) to the rear of the slide. Easy mod and adequate room for man-sized handles.

I would highly reecommend the Bedslide.

Hey I found yet another slide from Camping World the Kwikee Super Slide. ?The slides have up to a 1,000 lb capacity and costs $350 / $314 if you are a member. ?CW only carries up to the 54" deep model (the widths are determined by the 3/4" plywood insert) but I think they can order all the depths that Kwikee makes. ?The slides also have a 3 position lock. ?A buddy of mine just put 2 in his RV and these things are very well made.

As far as mounting them I'd look at fabing something like the way the Bedslide mount works - it's very clean and the best part is no holes in your bed!

can any of these "bedslide" type products be as easily remove as a drawer ( like in your kitchen) if say want to carry a big refridgerator on the floor of the bed of the truck?
thanks everyone.

The BedSlide got such overwhelming praise and recommendations from those here so I decided that was the only way to go.

The best price I found was from Ace Boggs Supply. You can mail him at AceBoggsSupply@aol.com. I looked him up and he's in Oregon just south of where the BedSlide is manufactured. He sells the BedSlideXL for $489 plus shipping which is understandably quite a bit on a large 125lb item.

Shipping to me about 1350 miles away was $110 or 150, depending on whether you're shipping to a commercial or residential address. If the shipping company wants to drive an additional 10 miles outside of town and drop it off at the fire department where I volunteer, that's fine with me. I just wanted the to knock the extra $40 off. :D

I placed an order and it should be here next week so I'll let you know how that goes. Too bad my Av isn't here yet.

I hate to ask now that I've already placed my order but has anyone else found the BedSlideXL for less?

I got my BedSlideXL today. Of course I just had to pull it out of the box and take a look. Looks nifty! Now I just need the Av to put it in. Time for Chevy to start rolling those off the line and shipping them up north across the border!

I have a Jotto Cargo Slide and so do several avalanche owners I know. They are two drawers that mount without any drilling and can be taken back out of the truck easily by one person namely me a medium sized woman.

I like it because I can put small things in it like groceries, kids sports stuff, or husbands fishing gear and it is in a tray so it can't roll around and get messed up. I don't usually haul anything too heavy so the 250 lbs IN EACH TRAY for a total of 500 lbs of capacity is plenty for me. If I want to haul anything heavier I just take it out.
