June 2004 TechLink Online - Good Reading..

What did you see in there Sperry? The Armadillo has been out for a while.

That's just a new issue; nothing special we don't know already.
They had Armor-Dillo for the cladding issues several months now.

`Just post `em for general interest. (no pun...)

Thanks Sperry,
I for one like being able to see these and wouldn't know where to find 'em on my own. Maybe the board admins would consider making these a permanent addition and post all of them in a sticky thread (is that what the no reply forums are called?) or put them in resources and have them updated every month. Just a thought.

Since this type of post doesn't really need a reply, perhaps they would consider it, if they were contacted.

I prefer this method....with Sperry increasing his post count and maybe sometimes a discussion will take place if there are ever any issues with the AVY......besides the cladding fading....hehehe

Too bad they don't menu it better. I have to do a site-specific search using an outside search engine like google - What do you do spotty?

Sperry:

Unfortunately, your right, no good menu. I open each month, then: You use the "edit" function, "find" function of my browser (IE) to search the word Avalanche. This way I jump to just the relevant information. Not very high tech, but better than scrolling through each.

Holy Sh*t armordillo wants $383 in order to buy the package for the cladding? No Fn way will i pay that much, thats a sh*t load of Meguiars NXT spray bottles that work great on the cladding...

The best look so far I had was using "Mother's Back to Black". It's not a stain, so `02's will no doubt look nice using it too.
I get a nice black with a sparkle - like shine. Tires look better too than the "tire wet" I used before.

I found it at Kragan & Wally World.

Edit: Typo.. :2:
