Don't know if this should be in the nationals thread or tagging one. After getting the av washed a guy in an av was coming out of the local restaurant. He stopped talked to me and I gave him the web address. He hung around met us all. Heck, Musics gave him a free mod. He even rode with us to freedom chevrolet. He stayed for awhile and really enjoyed himself. He kept telling me he's glad he stopped. He said him and his wife saw 3 avs at a stoplight and was wondering if there was a club around. Then this morning when he saw me and all the other avs he figured there was.

Probably both...but HERE it just adds to the excitement of the Nationals and the impact this Club brings to other owners who may have never heard of us before...

Great story...loved reading it...so what was the Mod?  Rear Headrest?  Ambers?  >:D

Great pictures and stories! It looks like Freedom Chevy took good care of you guys. Who is the couple who have the patio umbrella on the hitch? I met them at last year's Nationals but forgot already, I have loved that mod and have been thinking about a modified version of it myself.......with my teak wood and beach scene in the rear window I think that I need it and a TIKI bar at the rear.  >:D

That's Silverrider (Buddy and Debbie).  I like the sound of the TIKI bar, I'll belly up!
 
Great time at Freedom Chevrolet with the Corvette club. What a combination-- Vettes and AV's. Had to get some for our daughter of the "Barbie Vet."

Congrats to TCG and JJ for a successful 2009 National Chevy Avalanche Meet.  I know the work and effort that goes into making these events happen and I applaud you both for a job very well done.  Now, sit back, relax and get some much needed rest, you both deserve it.
