Ok Guys and Gals,

You know it has to be done!!  Which game this season is going to be the official Avalabche GTG??  I am planning on making it too a couple games, so let me know when we can work it in.  If I am going to bring the AV, it has to be before the bad weather hits!  Because we all know you can't drive an AV in the snow!!  >:D  Ok, maybe that is just me!!  LOL

Yea, just you bro.......I'm like a kid with a new toy every time it snows pulling people out, etc.  Love it.  I'm game for whenever you guys decide!!

I will be at every home game and probably the KU game. ?There is a good chance I will go to Missouri (even though the fans there are horrible) and I am considering a trip to Boulder for the Colorado game too. ?So you guys call out when you can make it and we will work from there. ?We can all meet at the firestation at College and Kimble, then drive in one behind another.
 
I was talking to some friends about going to the Texas game on the 11th.  So that would work out good for me.  We were going to tailgate.  Secret is, I am a Wildcat and a Longhorn, wow will I be torn. 

Oh and Fouse, its a truck, get that sucker out in the snow!!  Or if you get stuck...I can pull you out in my big 4x4.  No one would laugh if a girl pulled you out!!!  :laugh:

As long as you wear purple you will be welcome at our tail gate as well.? We usually set up two tents side by side, one has sides incase of wind. One is a KSU tent and the other is just a plain white one.? We park in gate 9 which is on the East side of the stadium.? It's a field parking lot so it sucks when it rains but the atmosphere is much different.? That is the parking lot where most of the students park.?

I do get mine out in the snow (these days).? I got rid of my little truck so the Av is my only vehicle now.? And I don't need any girl to pull me out, :cool: mine is 4x4 as well.? In fact it is the Z71 package, I just removed the stickers from the rear quarters and lowered it.? My 4-wheel drive is to get me around on snow and ice with my after market rims on.? However, I usually stick the factory wheels back on for the winter.?

 
Wew, good to know!  I was concerned with the improper use of the Avalanche!!  Sorry got you and Steves posts mixed.

Oh and I am pretty sure I wont be wearing purple.  In fact for the past 3 Saturdays I have worn my horns hat!!  There is a longhorn on the front windshield and a Texas sticker on the back.  I am a Wildcat by birth, but a Longhorn by choice.  Although I will give you this, I have more Wildcat clothing, hats and other stuff than horns stuff.  Its a long story, I got love for the cats, but Im a longhorn.

Not driving the AV in the snow is NOT abuse!  That is how I am protecting it from the elements!!!  >:D  I didn't buy one of those fancy 4x4 models...  because in the past I only used it after too many drinks and ended up breaking something....  My AV is more a pavement princess! 

I keep toy around with the idea of getting a new 07, if I do that, it will be a daily driver and it will see it all!! 

As for the game, I will check my schedule and see what weekends are good for me!  The weekend for Nov 11th should work for me.  I might drive up the motorhome and skip the AV if I am worried about weather though, and then I have a place to pass out in Aggieville too!!  Always have to plan ahead you know!!!!!

Born and raised a Wildcat here too!  My grandfather, uncle, father, myself and now my little brother all went to KSU.  I remember going to K-State games when there about 43 people in the stands compared to the 43000 that go now.  I bleed purple!  I guess we will still let you gate with us but get ready for a rash of sh*t because the people I go with are hard core Wildcats!  How did you become a 'horn?

Unfortunately my teams don't come out this way. Being from Va, I am  a Va Tech Hokies fan, Va Cavaliers fan and a little bit of a WVU Mountaineer fan. So I guess I would be completely neutral if we are able to come at all.
 
Honestly, if I went up I would  be supporting the cats.  It takes control of me as soon as I get up there.  So no matter how much trash I talk about the cats and how much praise I give my horns ie. Saturdays victory over Iowa.  I would be purple.

Oh and no worries about tailgating.  I can hold my own.  I only look sweet and innocent.  I always take a few days off after returning from any event in Manhattan! >:D

Well hopefully when we play Texas our offense will know how to complete a pass.  We couldn't get anything going on Saturday, offensive wise.  Our defense was awesome, we held Louisville to half of their average points so had our offense even played to 75% of what our defense did, it would have been a whole different game.  I guess we will see what happens next week in Baylor.
 
Wasnt this the first loss of the season?  I havent caught a game yet.

Im still getting in touch with a friend up there to see about getting tickets the 11th.

Yeah it was a our first loss.  We have 3 wins which is only 1 less than we got last year and the same amount of wins we had 2 seasons ago so we are on the rise!

I am still planning on the 11th!  I don't have any ticket connections this year, but I am sure I can stumble across some.  There is always someone selling tickets.  If you do come across some, let me know.

You got it Steve.  In fact if, we are gonna get a decent number of people planning on this I will put the word out that we need 'x' amount of tickets. 

Anyone interested in going to this game let me know so that I can start putting the search out for the tickets.  I make no promises but I will try.

Count us in for 4 for the tailgate.  Doubt we'll go into the game though, too expensive to get tix, and too hard to wrestle a toddler in the seats, the only Wildcats we'd get to watch would be our kids!  :E:
