Can anyone help idk technical names but I'm having bad leak behind serpentine belt going thru a gallon of coolant a day and idk what I need to do about it...I'm on a tight budget so a garage is sort of out of the question however I have tools and a car lift in my garage...also the cargo light on light will not go off....it's a 2002 chev. Ave.z71.preciouslu owned by a horrible know it all mechanic lots of things rigged together

Going through that much coolant youre risking damage to the engine if you let it overheat..

Must be either the radiator hose, bypass hose, heater hose, or something along those lines. Pics would help if you actually know where it's leaking. Maybe you're talking about the water pump? I assume they still put weep holes on them.

It's coming from the place where the bottom. Pully meets the engine....

could be water pump

For cargo light to stay on it has to be grounded somewhere.
check dash switch and if he added a rear tailgate PIN switch or another on/off switch like most did back in 2002.
