Has anyone changed the seating from cloth to leather.

They didn't have an AV with leather, when I bought mine, in July, but I have really been thinking about having the seats reupholstered.

Any comments? ???

Do a search. I think there is a topic about aftermarket leather. I think Katskin is one that people say is better than factory.

Thanks for all the help. Went to Katzkin and CST today (It was 70 here in Orlando for all who are snowed in).
Liked Katzkin better, also had a better price, plan on ordering next week.
The help available here is unbelievable, glad I found the club site.

I have an 02 with cloth interior and would definitely like to change to leather. I had leather in my previous car and really miss it. I am also located in Florida near Orlando and would like to see how yours turns out.

Yeah, let's get a price on the Kats

I want to do the same thing since factory leather always gives out too soon in the AZ sun >:D

i paid $1295 for mine here in phoenix. that was dealer price, so there probably is some mark-up on it. was installed at sunroofs etc.

Ya--got my '02 seat covers from them, Auto-Interior ---they're great!!! ?Made from (what looks like) factory leather, too. ?The fit is just like my old factory covers. ?They were helpful in helping me find a color that matched the rest of my interior......and the price was right!

Yes, I installed the seat covers that I purchased from Auto Interior and Uph for my '02 ( http://www.auto-interior.com ). It took me about a day. They were easy to install and when I ran into a question, I called back and they had the answer. I am MORE than satisfied with the quality, service (shipping was very quick) and everything.

Sorry for the delay, I've been away.
The Katz was $995 plus $40 for embroidering avalanche on the backs. They also change the door panels to leather.
Cst was $1195 +
Liked the people at Katz better and they only want the av for 1 day, CST wanted it for 2 days.
Hope this helps, sorry for the delay in answering.

Mine cost $743.00 and my "bow tie" embroidery (that was the one that I chose) was FREE!! Also, http://www.auto-interior.com has FREE shipping. The back seat cover was the same as the front seat cover--leather seating surface all the way through. They didn't skimp on the leather.

The people there were so easy to deal with, and I got two toned covers. They let me put the colors anywhere I wanted, not just on the "facings". When I talked to Katzkin I couldn't customize it very much, only the places they wanted me too. I wouldn't change a thing!!!

Could you post a digital picture of your leather seats?
I am debating on katzkin or the company you referred to.

Thanks
