LED Switchback

Hi Yall,
My first post. I just saw that some are installing the LED switchback, and I can't figure out how it works. I have a 2013 Chevy Avalanche LT. If I install the LED Switchback into the flasher port, as I understand it, when the flasher is used the Amber LED light will flash, and then when the flasher is not used the white LED will be on.
Is that how it works? Does this year/make/model have the technology for that?

yeah I ignore Amazon now too much junk for sale and I find not any cheaper then other internet sites.

That sounds right. And it didn't require the use of LEDs.

I think wig-wag mode- is like emergency white-amber switching constantly. This one is only amber is flashing. This is my thought.

Just throwing this out there, but where I live amber running lights (park) are a regulation.
Would only matter if a LEO took the time to pull you over and notice.
