Left my sunroof open AGAIN.

Other than just getting smarter, is there anyway for me to have a reminder for the fact that i left the sunroof popped open. I just cannot remember to close it.

When I had convertibles years ago it was easy to remember, even when it is all the way open I remember, but with it propped open I forget. It is like a homing beacon for mosquitos, and better than a rain dance to provoke a sudden shower.

Don't know.

I am hoping to add a module to control that with a new alarm so I can walk away while windows roll up, sunroof closes and doors lock. But I know just what you are talking about. Not a problem now when it's 30 degrees ouside, but summer makes it hard to remember.
 
Not that I leave it open but if you found a way to remind you that is it is open only when the driver door is open that would be nice. Kind of like when you leave the keys in the ignition alarm. Sometimes I leave it open on pourpose and wouldn't want the alarm going off then.
 
How about a moisture sensor that automatically closes the sunroof when it starts to rain. Id pay cash for that!
 
Sorry to hear about your problem, but my sunroof automatically closes when I turn off the AV unless I press a separate button to keep it open. Oh yeah, I purchased an aftermarket sunroof from American Sunroof Company.
 
I wonder if the DIC has an option that will sound a chime or just automatically close it. I do not have the sunroof so I can not test it on mine.

Whats wierd is that in my trailblazer I had a factory sunroof that closed automatically when you turned off the key, why couldn't they have used the same thing for the AV. Brialliant GM misengineering at work again
