I NEED on of those hoods .. anyone know where to get a good deal on one? Also, I'm guessing its gel coated when delivered, what kind of ka-ching are we looking at to get it painted?? Ballpark figure is fine. I'd shoot the paint myself but already have one car in the garage getting ready for paint so ... Any info greatly appreciated!!!

As soon as I get a chance I'll shoot some pictures and post them for you
I an 02 LPM withe 20"AR magnets chrome wheels, black Manik grill guard, however the side steps are the chrome Westin Ovals and the carriage works grill and black Manik tail light guards.

Lord Aries, AWESOME HOOD

HEAVY D, looking forward to seeing those pictures. :9:

Thanks (y) ;D
You can get the hood through www.Stylinconcepts.com they go for $660. Yes, gel-coated in white when it arives. and it is funtional if you have a cone style open intake.

Ouch, a bit hefty for fiber glass but damn that hood is sweet. Do you recall what the paint ran you or did you end up doing it yourself? Got the polished K&N 77 Series intake so it should work out well ..
Only downside with styling, they are in Ohio ... I am in ohio ... spell out sales tax for me please ... With shipping thats an 800 dollar hood for me!

Summit sells the hood too.. Maybe you could pick it up at stylins warehouse!!! Paint and finish was a special deal cause I know the shop I used but, most places will get $600-800 probably... Yes, intake would work.

It's a good 5 hour drive and with the gas mileage on an Av .. it will be cheaper to fedex/ups it LOL! I do know of a good shop that will probably cut me a better deal than that. I was quoted about $1,000 to prep/paint/finish my upper cladding and that's a hell of a lot more surface area than a hood! The same shop did a friend of mines rice burner last year and that paint job turned some heads, including mine!

MJT193,

Visit my link below for mods made to my LPM AV. I have everything you mentioned with the exception of the 20" chrome wheels. I have 17" Escalade chrome wheels with a slight modification.

here is a link to my pics. not a whole lot of mods, but i have a grill guard and some lights.
