Cool.

Is that a red light shining through the eyes? I hear that some jurisdictions get real upset if you have any red or blue lights on the front of your vehicle, as they are reserved for emergency vehicles. They want amber or white only. Personally, I don't think any reasonable person would think that a vehicle with such a small red light would be a police or fire vehicle, but some places take it very seriously.

Don't get me wrong, I think it looks great, but let's be careful out there.

I was pondering the idea too; amber is ok in front. I had a blue bowtie on my 66 Chevelle lighted; that didn't last long The locals advised me quickly & firmly! Strange that they didn't say anything about the reflector abilities
I wanted to go one step further on the bowtie and have an LCD panel behind it; run animation of phords getting crushed and so-on. Maybe generate switchable backgrounds.
If I could only find bowtie-shaped LCD panels....

EIther the locals are getting lax here in my area, or they are handing out a lot of warnings/tickets. They use to be real strict on no red or blue in front. Now I see the lighted windshield washer nozzels in red & blue all the time. The other day there was a car behind me with a blue neon inside. From my rear view mirror I did think it was an officer. Not just the glow showing, the lightbar was placed up behind the rear view mirror & was showing. That has to be distracting while driving.

I'm running a red eye in my bow tie.

Traz, I also run blue running light, blue strobes in the same housing, and I do have a red scanner hooked up behing my rearview mirror too.
All hooked up to seperate switchs, and of course a siren
