Lights Behind AC/Heater Fan and Temp Controls out

For starters the light behind the Fan Speed Dial is loose because I can tap it and it comes on. Is this an easy fix. Also the lights behind my AC button and Outside Air button for lack of a better term are out. Can this be replaced. Year is 2002 with manual controls.

The light behind my passenger side temperature control lever is out. The driver side and everything else is fine. I have an '04 z71 with manual HVAC. Can anyone tell me if the light is replaceable? My dealer says I have to replace the whole heat/AC temperature control module. Is he right? (I'm out of warranty)

I do believe the dealer is correct. Alot of the components have intergrated/soldered lights.

The control assembly shouldn't be too hard to remove and check the connectors.
You pull the dash bezel off and the control module is held in with clips. Squeeze them and pull it back to access the connectors. Line up a replacement but before you buy the assembly, pop it apart and see if you find anything visible. If you mess it up, so what.. go get the replacement...It's only money!
