Been trying to find an old friend.  I was stationed with her at Ft Hood, TX way back in '91.  She is from the Edmonton, Alberta area.  Dual citizenship, family in Washington state and Montana.  Last I remember, she was moving back to Canada.  I want to say it was to Fort St John, BC for some reason.

Other than her name and a few minor details about her, there's not a lot of info I have.

Any clue on where I need to start?  tried the easy ways...  google, classmates.com, myspace and a few other simple searches.

???

Fort St. John isn't exactly a huge city, have you called the operator there and tried to get a phone number?
Might work for Edmonton too but it's a lot bigger city.
In fact, for PSJ you could more than likely put her name on an envelope with just the city and she'll get it.

HI,
As noted above Fort St John is not that big.. so you could try these two if you get a hit it would give you a start with some basic infor to carry on search. Both first and last names allow a partial search

Good luck

Heck, send me the details and I'll spend a little time to see if I can scare something up.

I think I'll try the random letter to Fort St John and hope I get a bite.

thanks for the links, I'll keep looking.  I'm gonna take you up on your offer and send you some info.  Thanks for the offer.  hope you have better luck than I have.

Hey, I like to locate a few girls I went to school with when I was 11 and 12 in Pacifica, CA

Only curious how they turned out.

Another option is Facebook.  I recently got in touch with friends from elementary school that I have not seen in over 20 years.  It might be worth a shot.

found her. (y)  Tried the same things again last night and it took about 3 minutes.
