(y) Alright Texas be ready to show me some amber DRL's.
I have driven to Mobile Al. saw 14 AV's with no amber DRL's. That part of the country has not received our message
Will be heading down to Padre Island Tuesday and coming back that night into Houston and over to the east side on Wendsday. This will be a 1100 mile roundtrip in 2 days, there has to be a set of ambers out there somewhere. Only place i have seen them is on this site...................
I hope i can at least see one other AV with AMBERS. Have yet to see a pair in Louisiana.
Be on the look out for Me and if i see a amber pair will be trying to do a U-ee to go back and catch em.........

When you come through Houston if you see a dirty black 2500 whizzing by you, wave, I have ambers >:D

If you were to swing through San Antonio, I know you will see plenty of AV's with Amber DRL's. ;D
 
You won't find many in Austin. I don't think I've seen any!! We have approx. 1250 people here and the fitst Av showed up in the lot last week. The guy just bought it used. FWIW......$24,500 for a loaded Z66 with approx. 18k miles.
 
I believe Ahhhnuld has some amber DRLs here in the D/FW area, and someone else too.......can't recall who, but you'll find some this way ;D
 
Hey Wonder!
No amber DRLs, but I am running Xenon blue DRLs. Hard to miss, especially since I also changed out my turn signals from amber to Xenon blue as well.
 
(y)Allright, gandolphxx, if i see a 2500 coming up hard behind my in Houston, i will move over at least 2 lanes as not to get sucked up in the turbulence when you go by.. Would hate to get caught up in it like Maverick on TOP GUN, and send me spinning >:D
Coming through Houston around 3:30 am tuesday morning and back in Houston hopefully around 7 tuesday night, looking for a Hotel to lay my head down and give the AV a rest........... ;D

I hear ya, I'm sick of the wet stuff!!! I Haven't washed the AV in over 2 weeks... isn't there a law against that? ;D
 
Oh well weather already changing plans. going to wait till in the morning on the 5th and maybe the worst will be through. Bad storms coming through right now and makes it hard to see the water covering the road. I don't have flood insurance on the AV >:D
Going to try and hook up with the Gandolphx for lunch and stretch my legs and head on down the hill to Padre.........

Well we had the mini-meet at a Denny's off I-10 in Houston - nice weather for a change and got a chance to meet Zeeya.

Man too bad I missed it also. I got amber drls also. Hey Bruno besides the club decal I will buy a set of amber drls to give away at the N17 meeting so there can be 2 lucky winners, only more than have committed to attend need to show up for me to do both give aways. >:D hint hint. ;)
 
well its probably too late for the pass thru, but ad another to the DFW group with blue DRL's
 
Sounds like a great time, zeeya. (y) BTW, the only time I've ever seen another Av with amber DRLs on the road in my neck of the woods was during an Av cruise with other members. :cautious:
 
Wanted to Thank Gandolphxx for coming out and meeting me at the Denny's. Was a good break and got to discuss some AV issues. Wow there are some real members out there. Was beginning to thank this was a fantasy world.. Just kidding i know YGMN is out there somewhere we must just pass each other in the dark.
It was quite a humbling experience when gandolphxx opened the hood and showed me what i need to ask Santa Clause to get me for Christmas. Or should i say for the next 5 Christmas's.
Hopefully this will work and let you all know what to look out for when passing through Houston, just move over and out of the way when you see this beast in your rearview.
