Down the River Road, in the small town of Locke, is a restaurant called Al's Place that's been around for quite some time and has colorful history. Al's is located at 13943 Main st in Locke, there is a big gravel parking lot that should accommodate us fine

we will be having lunch at Al's and then driving down the road a little farther to Mel's Mocha & Deli (14131 River Rd Walnut Grove, Ca) for some ice cream (they feature Gunthers ice cream). Across the street from Mels is parking alongside the river which could provide a nice photo op. From this point on it's kind of open and I'd like your input

I have a call into California Cellars (15511 Isleton Road, Iselton, Ca) for a winery tour

There is also a place in Rio Vista called Fosters Bighorn (143 Main St. Rio Vista, CA)that features one of the world?s most remarkable collections of wild game trophies with over 300 wild animals, birds and fish.

our starting point will be the Starbucks at  1441 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, Ca.  meet between 11:00-11:30 and depart at 12:00pm

Attending so far...

WILDFIRE + Brandon and Audra

gotcha down :woot:

I talked with the people at the winery and they are not open Sundays. He said he could do a tour, but basically it costs them $200.00 to open the place up, and that would have to be divided among us

I think the Rio Vista-Ryde Loop sounds like a good plan
