Lunch with Blueruck in Dallas Aug 29th at Hooters

I am taking the long route down to SA to lunch with the Dallas gang - working with FSU we have picked this Hooters - this will allow me not to get real far off of I35 and be able to hit the road and clear Austin before rush hour.

Lunch time starts at 11:30am CDT

Come out a have a hot wing with Blue

This is the month of bonding with my AV - so I might not be on this thread a lot, though I will be here for lunch on the 29th.

I leave today for a 2200 mile road trip to IN, on the 24th the CO gang is getting together for a 4x4 day and I have to be on the road on the 28th for SA. Talk about quality time with the AV :)

Let me know if you can make it - I know I will meet some of you in SA ;)
 
You mean we're actually letting Blue across the state line?? :eek:

What the heck, I might be there, might have my new theme on my truck by then too!

Mine won't be clean :) Not after a road trip - unless I roll in early and find a spray and wash :)

Blue- A little out of the way for me to go North then turn around and go back south, but hey its only more QT with the AV.

All, I think I am gonna be in Dallas around the 29th too for business. Has anyone heard of Merit Drive, I think it is in Northern Dallas near 635??? Sound familiar? I am wondering if it is near the Hooters you have choosen...

Wash, I thought before we crossed into Texas we had to change the bowtie to the Texas flag, rear decals etc.???
Sadly, I will be leaving SA a few days prior to the get together to rush back east, but I like the bonding part Ruck, I will be doing so for 5ooo before Oct. Nice ride though, remove widows, open top, crank up the Bose and roll.

it's about 5+ minutes off I35.

Wonder....just a warning for you....you have to wash the AV :eek: prior to putting on any decals/stripes. I know that might be an inconvevience, but, I just want those look good. ;D

Wow, you guys are putting this WAYYY far from me, it's all good though, I will be there ;D

Dave washed the parts he was putting the pinstriping on my AV.....but yes, whenever I take it to the shop that I will have the decals put on at (WHICH, are now paid for ;) ) I will make sure the AV is clean.

I don't know what she'll do clean though, she might get excited that there's no dirt on her LOL

You guys tell me which Hooters - I don't want to get lost driving all over Dallas area :) As long as I am somewhat near I35 I am cool - pick the best place and let me know

Blue, whichever one will be the easiest for you (FSU GUY can probably determine that) will be fine, we can come to you, it'll be easier that way for everyone ;D

addison's not that hard to find. we can keep Blue on the right roads. what's easiest for others. it don't matter to me...

My schedule will be more flexiable than someone running over for Lunch - I will let everyone give their input and FSU can tell me which Hooters and I will grab the map it and put the petal to metal :)

So, I'll ask Wonder and Dave02Z66 which is easier for them.....ok....which is best addison or lewisville?
 
I can't believe it! I am going to be in Lewisville, THIS Friday, the 22nd. Going to miss you guys by a week. :E: Wouldn't have the AV with me necessarily, but, would have been good to meet you guys.

Just because its a different Friday doesnt mean you cant have a few AV members meet and greet you on the 22nd

Lets do Lewisville a bit easier to get to and closer to I-35E anyway
 
Just got wind of this thread thanks to FSUGUY. I'll try to make the Hooter's lunches too. Is the 29th gtg right before people are leaving for San Antonio for the Labor Day thing?

 
yup!...Blues heading south. which hooters do you prefer?
 
Shouldn't matter once he gets this far. Both 35 and 75 end up in the same place once you hit the south side of Dallas really. *shrug* Wherever is closest for most people locally then would probably be the best as Blueruck should only have to go 5 miles over to 75 at the very worst.
 
I will get to Lewisville sometime the evening of the 21st. Staying at the Courtyard. Will try to make it there before Beer-thirty. >:D

Open for lunch on the 22nd then off to the airport.

Would like to see that Big White Whale if possible, other wise, we will look for you guys at the Central Indiana Mod Meet next month.
