Make Tires Spin Burning Out

A relative of mine just bought an 2003 z71 AV.

He asked a good question. how can you make the tires spin.

I tried on my truck but I never could do it in the past.

Is there anyway? Stock truck that is.

Put the truck in 1st gear, apply slight break just enough to hold the truck, then step on the gas. The truck should break the tires loose. So you would end up doing a break stand and roast the tires.

Only if the pavement is wet, or your off-road! At least that has been my experience with the 1500 Z71.
