Manual Transfer Case Failed

Has anyone had any "manual" transfer case problems?

I have a 2002 Sierra HD. 6.0 with a manual 5sp.and manual case, after 1 year and 30K mile ( half of which were towing a 5 to 6 thousand lb. trailer ) the case failed by slipping into neutral with a "spline nashing" sound.

Sorry to hear of your problems but all the AV's have the electronic controlled transfer cases.
