Map/reading Lights

I want to install some map/reading lights for the aft outboard seats and the passenger seat.

I have searched JCW as well as other places for either lights like the ones FORD used in the late 70s which was mounted just behind the mirror or nice quality ones on a flexible stem, like desk lamps.

Anyone know where to find these??

Anyone performed a similar mod for night reading?

Thanks!

What is the matter with the stock ones? TOo high obscure the driver?

Want something a back seatter can use and not bother the driver (usually me).

I think I may try a FORD Mustang shop... I think these were in the late 70'a and early 80's.

Here are some options this site has ones that you could put on the C pillar.

Or this site has the goose neck kind.

I'm in Canada and saw a small led light that plugs in to a cigarette lighter and has a small adjusted stem about 6" long. I saw them at Canadian Tire and Walmart. I think the LEDS come in different colours, red, blue green white etc.

Thanks phantomfloater - these look like a better idea, the gooze nexk ones would fill my needs best!

Thanks!!
