Ok people what is the deal? 
Why is it that WV, NJ, SOCAL, NOCAL, AZ, ect.. all have big GTG?s? Are the people in VA that busy?
The pictures I have seen from the other chapters web site show that it is not uncommon to have more than 10 Avy?s at a time. Granted I have only been to one GTG in VA (The Jenro?s GTG). I had a blast! 
It was great to get out and actually meet the people you chat with online and see their trucks, but we only had 6 Avy?s show up. SIX that is sad.
Omniplex and myself are planning a GTG at Mount Trashmore on the 15th of May and as of this moment we have 7 Avy?s (1 from Baltimore MD) and 20 people planning on coming. That is awesome!
I cannot wait, but I would still love to see more. Right now I have 30 Avy?s registered in our contact list. I am sure there are more out there so just speak up. I understand that people have busy lives. I am married, have a full time job, and two kids, but I still manage to find time to go to the GTG?s. They are a great family event.
Like the one at Mount Trashmore. If you have not checked it out yet I suggest you do. We?re going to have a cook out, maybe toss the football around a little, and just hang out and have a good time. For those of you with younger children (like me) there is Kids Cove A huge wooden play area just for younger children)right next door it is within walking distance. If you have older children the VB skate park (a huge area for skate boarding) is also within walking distance.
I guess what I?m saying is lets get it together VA. There are sooo many things to do here in VA. Like a Buch Gardens GTG or something. I?d like to see us have GTG?s like CA and the others.
