mirror mod install help needed.

Hi All,

I have successfully installed the mirrors and now it's time to wire the blinkers into the wiring harness as shown on the web site. The site mentions light and dark blue wires below and to the left of the steering column. I have probed ALL these wires looking for the illusive blinker lines and found nothing. I have gone so far as to remove all connectors from the controller box below the steering column in an effort to isolate the wires. Even with all front connectors disconnected from the controller box the blinkers still blink. Am I missing something here? Can someone tell me exactly (and I do mean exactly) where to look for the blinker wires? I'm out of options, short of completely disassembling my truck. HELP!

I did not install mine myself but watch the circut city guy do them. I remember them pulling off the door jam ( I hope thats what its called) The piece of plastic on the bottom where you step into the truck to locate these wires.

You will be at the GTG sunday correct. if so we can look how the did my truck if you want. I do remember that one was a light blue and the other a dark blue wire. I think the drivers was the light blue. It was so long ago.

OK he resolved this with a test tool he had. I will post the actual specifics lateron when he send them to me.
