Moonroof Problem

It is tough to get the cover out when the moonroof drags it that far aft. I believe you can hold the cover while the moonroof opens. I know I usually hold it when there's only an inch or two left to prevent it from going too far back.

When I open my roof the cover goes back so far that I cannot grab ahold of it....however when I close it it brings the cover back into range.

I believe it does this to get the max amount of air flow possible. I havent had any probs so far.

There might be a clip or something missing on your roof or shade that prevents it from coming back forward when you close your roof.

Dunno how to check that though.
