Mt. Angel Oktoberfest Sept 11-14th

There was a certain coolness on the breaze this morning as I walked out the door. A coolness that pooled around me bringing memories to the surface for months ago... it is time... the change is coming... leaves will begin to fall... but first we must celebrate the harvest, for Oktoberfest is upon us.

I haven't missed a year since I moved out here... even attended the version they had down in Albuqurque when I lived there.

Just throwing out some feelers here to see if anyone is interested in heading over to the great Mount Angel Oktoberfest?

What is there to do? Never been? Is it all just one big drunkfest? hardly...

We have a couple of these in our area too. One is near Lancaster, PA , Lancaster Liederkranz German Oktoberfest and the other is at Stoudt's Microbrewery in Adamstown, PA. I'm thinking of proposing one of these for our region. I don't know if there would be any interest though. Either way, my wife and I are at least going to one of them.
