Hi,
Im experiencing some weird electrical problems with my car.

Last year, the washer pump started going intermittent. It wouldnt stop until I turned the car off and restarted it. I replaced washerpump, wiper motor, turn signal switch but it didnt help. It corrected itself after like a month and havent had any problems ever since.

This winter, it would run out of battery when sitting for like 8 hours. Not all days, but sometimes. Turned out to be the radio, but I didnt replace it, it just corrected itself.

One time when I got in the car to start it, the driver seat started moving
And yesterday when I was outsider, the climate control was on even though the car was turned off, full blast on the fans. It stopped when I opened the door.

What the hell is going on? Could it be a bad BCM? Ignition lock? Bad ground wires?

At the very least, I would locate, clean and verify all of the many grounds on the truck.

There are posts in this forum describing the location of all of the grounds and some of the problems that poor grounds can cause.

I don't know if it is similar, my Vette's both have the auto temperature control HVAC, the '88 there is a module on top of the fan box that went bad. symptom: The fan runs on HIGH speed all the time.. even if the engine is off and the key is removed.. Of course it was a $125 part (pre Bide-flation). I disconnected the battery to get the fan to stop -> Once I figured out the module was bad I unplugged it until I got the new part.

I found a very interesting video on youtube where one of the ground wires was pinched. One of the comments described his cable was pinched as well at the exact same spot, so it could be from factory. Def worth checking out because it would make sense.

Thanks for your input, will check that out. Although I think its a more of a general electric problem, triggering malfunctions on seperate individual systems.
