I ordered my Avalanche without the Z-71 stickers on the bed sides. Just my taste.

Well my buddy who owns a F-150 and thinks he knows everything there is to know about trucks sees me at a local eatery...... he says "Nice Truck..... too bad you didn't get 4WD". Of course I let him go a little bit and dig the hole...... So I say "$20 bucks..... put up or shut up"..... He says "It's a no-brainer...it's gotta be a two wheel drive--- there's no sticker on the bed".

I had the chicken fried steak...............

Like the story. Same problem happens to me. The 2500 only says 4X4. Every one I know says why didn't you get the Z71 off road. Better suspension. Then I tell them this truck is a 3/4 ton with 8.1L. They look at you with that funny look.

Yeah, but they are generally just looking at the rear end getting quickly smaller in the distance.

......and he was still hurting when I hit him up the week before about Ferd coming out with the heated bumpers in '03...... ouch. He had never heard it.

Like I said in another thread...I have a 2500 4X4 also and am going to remove the 4X4 stickers on my Av. I think it will look better with-outh the decals...Maybe I can get a steak dinner!!
