Hey all I am new to this...I got my Avalanche on Friday and am so excited...I do have to fight my husband for the keys though. Anyway just wanted to say hey and share my good news... YAHOO :D

I got a Victory Red 4x4, nothing fancy just assist steps (for those days I wear a skirt to work ;)) and I think that is it... The guys at work said that it is to big for me but I love it...especially since I traded in a Saturn!!!!

I'm new too. Thought I would try a post.
Wanted to see how this works.
My first truck was a '46 GMC (cool truck!) :cool:
My second was 79 Chevy Van (does that count?) ???
My third was a Mazda B2000 (nice LiL toy) :cautious:

Now I have a 2002 Chevy AVALANCHE! :love:

You've come along way baby!
 
My wife NorCalNancy will be glad to hear there is another woman on this board to swap womanly stories with.

Congrats on your purchase!!! The AV is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned.

Have had mine for a month and have only scratched the surface of the Mods every one has done. I guess if you count side bars I have those and I allready bought a billet grill.
Need to go to the forums and do some reading.
Anything you can suggest would be helpfull.

I actually haven' t thought that far ahead, I am still relishing in the fact that I have a bigger vehicle then my husband and if he makes me mad I could crush his car...not that I would do it, but it is nice to think about it. I too, will have to do some reading. THANKS for the welcome mat

First I had to check the group buy you spoke of.
Yep, sure enough. Same grill I bought except I got the
brushed aluminum one not polished for about the same price.
Oh well, but I saw the bowtie you have on there. That looks real nice. I might have to consider that. Two questions.

Did you put the Avalanche logo on the hood?

How did you post that picture?
