Guys & Gals,

Since the Budget is Tight - ( Due to Home Purchase ) What is an Inexpensive Mod after : Amber DRL's & K&N Drop in Filter --Was @ GTG w/ DadEagle29 and Now I have to Mod Bug again.

Any Thoughts ?--

Paint some things....tow hooks....letters on cladding.....under hood plastic etc etc etc......

People have asked before, I don't believe anyone has done it yet. The all 4 on hi is usually plenty of enough light.

I thought someone go the fogs to come on with the HIGHS...then by doing the Hi + Lo mod it seems all would come on...

OR you can od as I have done...ADD lights up front....in a few weeks I will have added 6 total lights up front......HEHEHE just call me daylight...

I would go with the full time DRL mod. It is free, easy to do, and looks cool everytime you get in at night. And/or you can change out your accessory lights to some cool colors (new bulbs are very inexpensive)

Paint Pen for the cladding lettering

Colored bulbs (puddle lamps, interior lights, etc...)

Colored electrical tape for the bowties on the wheels (if you still have stock rims)

Steering wheel cover

Avalanche windshield decal

pinstriping

License plate frame

Trailer hitch cover

Spray paint (tow hooks, antenna, grab handles)

There are SO many choices! ;D

Go to a hobby shop and get Testor's Paint Pens. They work great. I did mine in Red. It does take a few coats, so just take your time.

Grizzz:

I've used those Testors paint pens on model before...but on the AV, did you seal the final finish with anything or just let it be? ???

I have about 6 coats of silver on mine.... didn't seal it and haven't touched it up for months.

How about
streamline design logos on the c post and/or visors 15.50 a pair
stacked and strapped about 12.00
backseat platform under 20.00
a new hitch cover about 40.00

No to Hobby Lobby....those are inferior...Walmart has some(red,wh,blk) or testors.com

Nice name Sooners 2win.
Hey big red I like your chevy bowtie on your AV. Florida State right? Also how did you do this?
The painting on the cladding with testors paint pens, do they peel off when you wash the AV? Any problems with this?

Check this out!
A buddy of mine E-mailed it to me.

This is on the site in two places now.....in the ZONE under EBAY stuff....

and the 4x4 section for the badest AVY

The paint pen I used I got from Michael's craft store for like $3 and it wasn't a testor's paint pen. I made sure it just said weatherproof on it. I only put one coat on and it's lasted through regular wear and tear as well as the drive through car washes ;D

the reason for my question is that I have wired my driving lights to the fog switch. right now my driving lightd only work when the low beams are on.

thanks for the help

you could crank your torsion bars OR install F#*D keys to leavel the front end. Also I would think about a muffler!

Butch

How about a chrome Bowtie (paid $15 for mine on Ebay),
Or painting the sail panel bolt heads with silver paint pens. I did this and it really looks cool.
If I can find some actual chrone or stainless torx bolts to swap them out, I'll do that. Until then, this looks the same.
OR Silverstar headlights.
Lots of Mod option here.
