I've heard many good things about Tribal AV and his decals and his prices, so I got him to help me out.

Not only did he do good work, his prices were very very reasonable. If you need any decal, just give him a call or go to his website:

take a look:

yup!

we just sat down and tweaked things on his computer.
the hardest part was making up my mind what to do.

yes Larry can create any image you wish (within reason) he uses a program on his laptop and sends it to a piece of equipment that cuts it out in high quality vinyl.

Larry made the chrome mountain Z66 Avalanche logos.
he also made some magnetic signs for my truck

Can I get more information?

How long will these decals last for?

Do they hold up in a carwash?

What colors wold look good on sunset orange?

Thanks in advance,
Faver Buhler

Having seen both, I think TribalAV's decals are just as good, if not better (less expensive), than Stripeman's. And he can do the custom work while you wait. We have one of his small decals on our window and it is holding up fine.

I would PM him or e-mail him from his website to get more info.

FYI-

I started with autotrim to do these...they put me on the small account list so I went to Stripeman.

I got the yes, no problem. sent him my specs and never heard from him again.

FB:

Can we go flames from front fender too middle of rear door? or is that too much?

I think he can do that. his limit is in width(16 inches?) not length.

but, hey who doesn't have that problem?!?

Larry is a great person and does outstanding work at a outstanding price. I know of no one who does it better for less! I am gonna have to get with him soon to dress up my plain ole LPM to make it stand out more.

OK Larry I gotta get with you tomorrow when you are in town and discuss some decal options for my AV - I will need them by the Goo Memorial trip and for sure for the Parade in October! I want you to give me some ideas and work your MAGIC! Tribals decals are some of the best I have seen and for sure he has the best price I have seen or heard of! See ya tomorrow Larry!

Wow! I didn't know this was here, thanks FSUGuy. I kept hearing people tell me about "Recommended from the CAFCNA site".

Well to answer some of the ??? 's some film is max 14" in width others can go to 23" depends on color. Length is pretty long. those are the sizes that I have. As far as the durability they do hold up in car washes. the only issues I have seen would be when they use towels to dry it. Also the film I use ranges from 5-7yrs. There are other methods to keeping your vinyl decals looking great. You can use a clear vinyl to protect the color vinyl underneath or you can take it to a body guy who knows how to apply clearcoat to vinyl. Prices, well you will have to contact me for that via email lrivera7@austin.rr.com. If I missed a ??? don't hessitate to call or email me.

Kim, your samples are in the mail. Let me know when you get them.

and again... Thank you FSUGuy.

I'm getting mine in SA. I was hoping you would make this one Kim. I wanted to meet you before we headed off to New Jersey. Or at least see that unwashed truck >:D Oh well, I'll just have to keep pickin' at ya from the shadows. ;D
