...Optima Yellow Top batteries. I have over 1,000 bookmarks in my browser and the only online dealer I could find was www.truckaccessories.com I usually like to get 2-3 bids and try to find a retailer out of state so I don't pay tax...

If anybody has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!

i was just talking to another member about this mod. i was getting ready to do it myself, but after the subwoofer mod, im gonna have to save up more $$$ to complete it.

you've done great write up work in the past , and i would definitely love to see notes and pics on this if you get a chance.

im also planning on maybe upgrading the alt, as the power inverter mod is a future must!!! darn it, i think i caught the MOD flu again, it's like a snowball; one mod after another...whew, i need a vacation.

RocknZ66: Seems like PepBoys only carry blue and red tops now. I went to 2 of them yesterday - same story. neither one of them could tell me of other pepboys had the yellow tops. I like the idea of online sometimes when you can save on tax. looks like the 1st like Goo provided has a decent offering with free shipping to 48 states.

vortek5300: yep. doing my components in the dront today and gonna experiement with dynamat on the front doors. I am trying out speaker baffles in the rear. I have a guy that comes to wash my cars every sunday at the house and last week when I popped the door panels off noticed quite a bit of water inside the panels, on the speakers wires, etc. The baffle is supposed to keep water off the speakers and connectors and hopefully help with the sound. I hope to post more pix end of day today or tomorrow, depending on how waste I get!
