Need suggestions for Mud Flaps, WBH w/ wheel flares

As a new member and a new AV owner, less than a week, I must first say that I love the website. I found answers to several questions already. Dirt bike & ATV hauling, bike rack on cover (probably another sale for TXAVy, price keeping me undecided), just to name a few.

I'm sure they exist somewhere but have not found yet. That is... suggestions for adding small durable and matching mud flaps to the black wheel flares for WBH.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Cale, I thought about the possibility of other GM trucks flaps fitting the flares but wasn't sure. I really like the looks as is, but it is really needed. I have the stock GM SS tube steps and they turn in and down. The mud flaps would hide the effect.

Wonder if my local GM dealer parts department could confirm the fit? I'll give it a shot.

Cale, I think you know someone I know. And it makes me glad. Thanks for letting us know that you know "Jesus Saves". :)

I bought the Silverado flaps for my WBH without flares, and they fit with a little help. I had to drill a hole in the fenderwell lip for the rears and had to buy longer bolts for the lower mount goinh vertically into the fenders on the fronts.

I would assume that the same thing would work for you with the exception of buying the Silverado with flaps version.

I installed Chevy flaps on my WBH with flares this weekend and they look great. The flaps are molded to fit over the factory wheel flares. They come with all the mounting hardware, including longer bolts and a rubber spacer for under the rocker panels up front. You will have to drill a small hole for teh rear flaps, but nor worry, it is underneath and easy to do. I did have to take off the rear tires for access. Part numbers are 12498060 and 12498342, one is the front pair, the other the rear pair. (Double check those numbers with your dealer just to be safe) These come with a white outline bow-tie printed on them.

Hey TwoDogAV,
I have a 2003 WBH and the factory installed side steps.
Do you have a picture of your flaps installed? Will check these out with the local dealer. Thanks :)

Sorry but I don't own a digital camera, YET. I'm going to try and borrow one so I can post some picks. My WBH does not have side steps, although I hope to add some soon. I think the flaps will still work with the side steps, but I do know the front flaps will not work with the running boards. There are several discussions about flaps on the site. Do a search for splash guards, mud flaps, molded mud flaps, something like that and you'll find several threads. A few people think the molded flaps stick out too far, but I think they look fine and add a nice touch. Especially on my black Av. They also really help to keep off water splashes, rock chips, and cow poop.

I have also read some are unhappy with these splash guards. Not me. Here are some pics.

Thanks, I think they look great. Nice ride. I would like to see a full shot also. If its not to much trouble, of course.

Sure. Not a problem.

So those are the factory ones I've heard some complaints about? I don't think they look bad at all. What was the price?

I think the complaints were from avers with smaller meats. The retail price was $40 for the front and $40 for the rear. I asked for a discount (told him it was for business) Got them for $34 each set. The #s were on an earlier post. This site really makes it easy. They are 12498060 & 12498342. These are good #s but you might have to tell him to look under silverado or suburban.
