Yes, you read that right. I need your pictures for an Avalanche calendar for 2003. Going to need the pictures ASAP as it's January 13th and I want to have this available chop chop.
Now there is a rub. Copyright and trademark laws does not allow for things like three panel shots that dominate the photo. But there is a loop hole --
ONE: If the picture is a close up and hard to discern the vehicle - you're OK. So for example a shot of an Av front end only showing a billet grille and painted cross bar with a custom bowtie - that works.
TWO: If the Avalanche is 25% or less of the picture. If you look at the 2002 screen saver a good example of this is the shot of the Avalanche and the barn and the Avalanche with the boat and the lake. Sure the Avalanche is part of the picture but it isn't THE picture.
So that's the kind of shots I'm looking for. One other thing - we need four seasons shots. Need fall color, spring mud, winter snow --
Finally, the pictures need to be PRINT ready. That is at least 150 DPI 800 X 600. 72 DPI online presentation WILL NOT WORK and come out grainy.
So the best way to do this is just attach your pics here (not the 150 DPI ones) and we'll see what we get.
Get your Av on the calendar - and you get a free calendar (hey - see I'm going to use that money from the supporting memberships for good things).
Get your Av shot on the COVER - and you'll get a calendar and $25.
Come on people!
