Yes, you read that right. I need your pictures for an Avalanche calendar for 2003. Going to need the pictures ASAP as it's January 13th and I want to have this available chop chop.

Now there is a rub. Copyright and trademark laws does not allow for things like three panel shots that dominate the photo. But there is a loop hole --

ONE: If the picture is a close up and hard to discern the vehicle - you're OK. So for example a shot of an Av front end only showing a billet grille and painted cross bar with a custom bowtie - that works.

TWO: If the Avalanche is 25% or less of the picture. If you look at the 2002 screen saver a good example of this is the shot of the Avalanche and the barn and the Avalanche with the boat and the lake. Sure the Avalanche is part of the picture but it isn't THE picture.

So that's the kind of shots I'm looking for. One other thing - we need four seasons shots. Need fall color, spring mud, winter snow --

Finally, the pictures need to be PRINT ready. That is at least 150 DPI 800 X 600. 72 DPI online presentation WILL NOT WORK and come out grainy.

So the best way to do this is just attach your pics here (not the 150 DPI ones) and we'll see what we get.

Get your Av on the calendar - and you get a free calendar (hey - see I'm going to use that money from the supporting memberships for good things).

Get your Av shot on the COVER - and you'll get a calendar and $25.

Come on people!

Snow and mud in one. Is this too much truck?

The original is 1600 x 1200, and I have a version where this is the full frame:

Minus the Avalanche logo - but yes - you've got the right idea.

This is borderline - but very close!

you are more than welcome to use my picture with the barn for the calendar. I am afraid that is the best picture I have to offer right now anyway. (and I have it at 300 dpi).

pictures are clickable

These are the only ones I have that come anywhere close to meeting those requirements.

In the one on the far left, there are 8 AV's in the parking lot... SUPER subtle, maybe too subtle.

If I had to pick one, I'd pick the sunset one on the right.

I have all of these in higher formats to meet the requirements.

D@mn...the only ones i have are what you aren't looking for...i think. See attached. They are all similiar to that.

BUT i just got a new Sony Digital 8. I can go take some...

Now you guys are talking - I agree the sunset image is AWESOME on the thumbnail provided - also like the Golden Gate image - the arguement of course being the bridge is more important than the Av.

Now you guys are thinking! >:D

Chief, another one (I can remove the date if you want)..

Chief, I have the exact picture you describe in point 1, custom grille and BT with colored craossbar. But every time I try to attach a picture it tells me the file is too big. How can I get the file size down to attach?
I'll send the phote itself directly to you, it will work as an e-mail attachment.

here you go... here is one at lake Texoma...

oh yeah and it is a 1600 x 1200 origonal, but i
sized it down to 500 x 375 to post.

I would suggest (if anyone has a good pic..), that a tribute to goo's AV be a picture on the calendar.

To show off his purple neon's....

Here are three.

I understand that it is pretty easy for someone that knows what they're doing to photoshop out the people and traffic from the background.
