New 07+ 2500 wheels on 2500 avalanche?

I noticed that there is a new optional wheel in the redesigned 07 HD trucks. The specs are 17", and from an ebay auction I see that in detail the specs are: "17"x7-1/2", 8 LUG, 6-1/2" BOLT PATTERN AND A 28mm OFFSET".

They seem to have the same offset as the forged wheels that came on the avalanche, but are an inch bigger in size and in width. Has anyone tried to mount these on a 2500 avalanche yet? Wonder what they would look like...

is there a 2500 AV with an 8 bolt pattern?  if not, then yours is a six bolt pattern.

Yes. They made them from 2002-2006, all with the 8.1 and 4L80E, mostly in 4wd, and only with cladding. I own a 2003 light pewter metallic .

oops.... I misread the subject.  thought you were trying to put 2500 wheels on an 07.  Sorry for my confusion.

That is something to look into, I wonder if they will fit on the rear without any problems with the center cap.
