I'm a new Av owner. Got her 8 days ago!! Anyways, had her in for a airbag warning light problem and I asked the service guys about my rear covers fading . They said that they just read a TSB about it and that Armor-All was coming out with a product for that problem. Anyone else hear about that? Also after reading some of the threads tonight, I'm going to back and have it Armor dillo'd.

I have not heard this yet.,.,...

Are you sure they did not get armo dillo confused with armor all?

That sounds like what they did...........don't use regular Armor All on the cladding.

I think that is what he meant ??? If it is, yes, have it done, it works for 4-6 months.

Yea, but wouldn't it be great to be able to go to the local auto parts store and pick up a bottle of $5 spray or something and not have to go through the hassle of dealing with the dealership?

Why do they call them "dealerships"when they are so hard to "deal" with?

it might...when wet form dew or rain....drip onto painted fenders and such ...and leave drip marks....like 303 and other products....depending on how you apply it

I've noticed this when I use the Zaino version of the stuff as well. Looks good until the moisture causes it to run off. Oh well, I'd rather have that on occasion than faded parts.

For those with the drip marks.....try the eagle one tire shine or similar products as seen in this thread....they tend not to drip onto paint....and last longer IMO

The only thing I have ever used is Turtle Wax "Wet and Black" and I don't have any problems with streaks running onto the paint or otherwise. Will continue to use it, good stuff.
