Howdy folks,

I know some will think this is too much, but it is amazing the number of times I get asked what kind of vehicle it is I am driving. So, I decided to put it boldy on the front fenders! Now day or night you can't miss it!

If anyone likes it, I got them through Stripeman, aspect ratio correct to 36 inches in length.

I think it would look better on the front doors toward the forward edge next to the front fender just above the cladding.

I have also seen it done on the windows, I think it looks very nice where it is!! Nice!! ;)

Believe it or not, I actually like this look much better than the top of the windshield visor decal thing.

The thing about blue AVs, the secondary accent color (mine is red) really stands out and complements the primary color.

Very nice job--don't worry about it being 'too much'.

Your little daughter is pretty cute. You should take more pics, show us more of what Kansas looks like with an AV in the background of course, then submit them for calendar pics! If its not too much to ask, how about a tornado in the background? That would definitely win hands down as the cover shot for sure!!! ?>:D

Or maybe not. Sorry, I just watched "Twister" again last night on DVD. One of my most favorite of all time...

How about a Kansas sunset?

I Love em!

They look great right where they are!

If you were worried about too much, you wouldn't own an AVALANCHE

Getting a picture of a tornado in Kansas is the easy part. Getting a picture of a Avalanche sitting still is the hard part. Great looking decals...

MacMan,

The "Avalanche" graphics are listed at Stripeman under the "windshield graphics" at 36" X 3" for $25 each? Is that correct---the ones you put on the front fender?

Looks nice!

They are similar.

I came up with the idea for these and made a specia request for this product. ?I paid $25.00 for them and they came as a set of two for that price. ?He actually sent 3, maybe he made an extra. ?These are not exactly 3x36. ?The height is higher than 3" to maintain the proper aspect ratio. ?With shipping via airborne express the total bill was $31.00.

They went on easy, but I had the most success with the second one when I cut it in half. ?Going over the curved surface it was difficult to keep air bubbles out when I applied it as a whole.
