Just picked up my '04 fully loaded AV last week and thought I would share a few pics. I have not frequently posted on this site, but I have lurked around a good bit gathering info before my purchase. My wifes dad runs a Chevy Dealership so the price was definitely right. He did some trading to get the one we wanted so we didn't have to wait to have it built. It is my wifes Daily Driver and the family tow rig. We tow our Jeeps all over offroading/rockcrawlin'. Now I just need to get a 2 car trailer so I can tow both of them at the same time :)

The ride is awesome and it has so many bells and whistles we don't know what to do. Our 6 year old loves the DVD! I've used my 98 5.9L Grand Cherokee for towing the last several years so it is going to be nice to finally tow with a real tow rig!! It is serving its first tow duty next weekend. I installed my Prodigy elctric brake controller last week, which was super easy thanks to some of the posts on this site! Anyhow, enjoy the pics.....

Thanks for the comments. I am excited about it. I absoutely love the Dark Metallic Grey! Blends very well with the cladding which I wasn't a fan of before but now am fond of. It was a hard color to come by for some reason and am glad everything worked out to get the one we did!

Welcome to the club. (y) The truck looks awesome. ;D
Its time for your first mod, Amber DRLs ;D.

-James.

It definitely sits lower which is good from the towing aspect, but I would rather it fill up the wheel wells from a visual standpoint. It rides on 245's and I bet the Z71's ride on 265's. anyone back that up?

I would love to get a set of 20-22's and larger tires to fill up the wheel wells for spring/summer/fall driving and keep the current tires/wheels for winter and towing, however, cash flow is pretty drained and hard to justify at this point......

Msvance, the Z71 tires are 265/70R17 Goodyears.

Excellent color choice, just love the Dark Gray with cladding (that's what mine is). I'm starting to see a lot of that color around these parts of Virginia.

Oh yeah,

Welcome to the club.

Nice AV. msvance. I just picked mine up this afternoon. Fully loaded except roof rack and steps. Now for some amber DRL's, grill insert and assist steps for starters.

Pretty Av, I went with Pewter '02 also because at the time it was closest to cladding color. I liked the black & '02 cladding contrast but you know what that would look like half the time on Michigan's salted roads ?

Flint - I know what you mean, I live in WI. Already has the nasty road salt on the sides. Oh well, winter should be over soon; shouldn't it???

As far as mods go, I'm pretty broke from the purchase but would like a bug deflector, chrome bowtie and billet grille. That should do me until I can justify new wheels/tires >:D

Welcome to the club vance ;D And to the "2500" club. If you need any help modifying your new beast, let me know. I can help you spend your $$ real fast >:D

Pretty Av?
When I came home in my first black leather jacket my mom said I looked cute. I've only recently gotten over it.
So lets call it a Bad A$$ Av.
